Why Le Souvenir?
Because we are paying a tribute to the first adventurers that discovered the beautiful province of Quebec.
Our provincial motto “Je me souviens/ Que né sous le lys/ Je croîs sous la rose” means that we will not forget, our ancient French lineage, traditions and memories, even if we grew under the Rose (the symbol of the England Empire).
Proud to represent the French part of this project. So, I am inviting you to jump in the Canadian adventure together.
They chose me because I am a mid-weight, sport touring motorcycle with a standard riding posture with fuel injection and an aluminum chassis. I am well known for adaptability to a variety of riding conditions: commuting, cruising, adventure touring, and to a lesser degree, off-road riding. For those reasons, I am variously categorized as dual sport, sport enduro tourer, street/adventure, commuter, or entry-level.
Since the first model showed up in 2004, this bike has been tested and used by many riders all over the world and has been well appreciated for the strongly built engine, low maintenance and reliability. Marketed in Europe, Oceania, and the Americas, the DL650 is manufactured at Suzuki’s ISO 14001 certified final assembly plant in Toyokawa, Japan. The name V-Strom combines V, referring to the bike’s V engine configuration, with the German word Storm, meaning stream or current.
